Training Day 7
Reached my goal of 3 sessions per week. I hope I can keep up this pace. Overall I am still not satisfied with my aerobic performance, thought it is improving, I did 35 mins on the bike. Got a new strategy, to do 20 minutes aim for 10, to do 30 aim for 25 and to do 35 aim for 30. Still it's the part of my exercise I like the least. Apart from that I worked out abs, chest and triceps.
My companion for this session was Venetian Snares. Venetian Snares is the nickname of Canadian electronic music artist Aaron Funk. He is a weird guy, though his surname is too funky to be real, he strongly rejects that he changed his surname. He is from Winnipeg, Canada, and he is quite bored there, a fact that he made known to the whole world with his 2005 album titled "Winnipeg Is a Frozen Shithole". He was discovered by chance by the legendary producer, and mate of Aphex Twin, Mike Paradinas. His music is best fit into the "Drill'n'Bass" genre, which is an augmentation of drum'n'bass.
I listened to his 2005 album with a peculiar name " Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett". The title means "born under an unlucky star" in Hungarian. Aaron Funk tells he composed all of his songs during a trip to Hungary. The album combines romantic style string arrangements with harsh samples and drum beats. Here's one of the best songs from that album "Szamár madár" which translates to "silly bird".
