The miracle man...

Meet captain Miracle, Chesley Sullenberger:



If The Economist was right in 2006, he is the first pilot to land a commercial airliner on water without causalities. This is definitely a miracle of human scientific achievement, technology, and skills.

(*)Today I did make a quick search in air crash databases, and could not find a non-fatal water landing.

Boeing B-377 pervaneli bir ucakmis. Bir tek ruslar basarmis jet motorlu bir ucagi nehire indirmeyi Tu-124 ile. Demek ki dalgali deniz pek uygun degil.

Functional MRI is one of the coolest scientific devices ever developed. With it the scientists are able to monitor which parts of the brain are activated, when individuals are involved in different activities. From dancing to taking decisions the functional MRI has revolutionized our understanding of many fundamental human activities. As Helen Fisher put it, the most passionate human activity, the romantic love is one of the latest to be investigated in functional MRI. According to their results, love activates the reward/punishment mechanisms, along with risk taking and strategic game playing parts of the brain. Unlike people who can leave in a split second, the activity in those areas continue even 15 months after separation. ... or A proposal for South American dominance in the next world cup: Yes, it still hurts. Those four goals, that involve perfectionism in attacking football on the German side, and complete failure of the defensive skills on the Argentinian side. And God's sad sad face. So I have a proposal for the next World Cup. We all seen how good the Uruguay defensive line was. Just think about adding the dream forward line of Argentina with a 2 good defensive midfielders together.  It would be a dream team from the Rio De La Plata. After all, Uruguay has its roots in the Liga Federal, which was a federalist state aspiring to control whole Viceroyality of Rio De Plata, which includes today's Argentina, after gaining independence from Spain...
